It is important to the German Centre for Lung Research to inform patients, relatives and the interested public about new findings on lung diseases. For this reason, we cooperate with the Lung Information Service (LID) based at the Helmhotz Zentrum München. DZL scientists and physicians provide their expertise to the LID. The LID edits this information and offers up-to-date, scientifically verified information from all areas of lung research and medicine in a comprehensible form via the internet. LID has created fact sheets on various disease areas and topics related to lung health. They briefly and concisely explain the most important information on each topic. You can download all fact sheets free of charge at LID website (in German).

In cooperation with the German Center for Lung Research and the German Society for Pneumology and Respiratory Medicine, LID is organizing the central patient event for the German Lung Day.
19th March, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., nine top-class experts will give a brief insight into their field and will then be available to answer individual questions from participants.
