The Translational Lung Research College (TLRCollege) is the umbrella training programme of the Heidelberg campus of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL), the Translational Lung Research Center Heidelberg (TLRC).
It provides structured training for clinical pulmonologists and basic lung scientists, fostering exchange between clinical and basic research. The programme promotes translational research by connecting the laboratory and the clinic and enabling researchers to gain insights into complementary disciplines and methodologies.
The TLRCollege also strengthens collaboration and networking among researchers at its partner institutions: the University of Heidelberg and Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), Thoraxklinik, German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), and European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), as well as with other DZL campuses and German Centers for Health Research (DZG).
