DFG funding for research project in lung imaging

|   News

TLRC Researchers from the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology (UKHD, Heidelberg) and researchers from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have been awarded funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the project 'Automatic, robust quantification of lung perfusion in DCE-MRI in a multicentre study with COPD patients (QuantLuPe)'. They will receive 600,000 € in funding.

In the three-year project, artificial intelligence and medical expertise will be used to help develop an automatic perfusion quantification in lung MRIs with around 600 COPD patients from the COSYCONET study.

We congratulate them and wish them every success with this exciting project!
