Europe-wide project SOLACE, short for "Strengthening the Screening of Lung Cancer in Europe", under the scientific leadership of Heidelberg University Hospital aims to improve early lung cancer detection. Funded by the EU, the project strives to draw up practical guidelines for implementing lung cancer screening, inclusive of specific populations that are currently underrepresented.
