TLRC scientist Professor Wielpütz receives recognition for his research on Cystic Fibrosis

Professor Mark Oliver Wielpütz, Principal Investigator of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL), Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), received the Adolf Windorfer Prize of the Mukoviszidose e.V. for his contributions to improving the diagnosis of cystic fibrosis (CF) and chronic lung diseases. The award is endowed with 5,000 Euros. His research achievements in CF diagnosis, in particular with regard to radiation-free magnetic resonance imaging, have also been awarded the Marie Curie Ring of the German Radiological Society (DRG).
