The 18th Symposium of the Mukoviszidose-Zentrum Heidelberg took place on 1st February 2020 in the Thoraxclinik Heidelberg. It attracted a very mixed audience consisting of friends and relatives of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients as well as CF-patients, therapists, pharmacists, doctors and industry representatives. About 110 participants used the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and to learn about the latest CF-therapies. Eight speakers covered a broad range of topics and cited the latest research studies, gave nutritional advice and introduced the Annual Report of the German Cystic Fibrosis Register. Three talks and information booths offered practical information about inhalation techniques and devices for CF-patients.
