Curriculum

Doctoral track caters to trainees in pursuit of a doctoral degree, including PhD students, Dr. med. (dent.) students and other pre-doctoral students. This two-year coursework consists of monthly seminars and irregular site-visits.

General seminar structure is outlined in a graphic below. Each monthly seminar will focus on a different topic related to a lung disease or  specific techniques employed in a medical lung research and include two back-to-back presentations: covering the clinical aspects of the disease and the basic experimental  research in the area. Lectures will be followed by a general discussion and presentations by enrolled students. Refreshments will be provided during a break.

Time: Wednesday evening, 17:00 – 19:00 s.t.

Venue: Albert-Fraenkel-Saal, Thoraxklinik, Röntgenstraße 1, Heidelberg
